He Makes Something Out Of Nothing – Day 4 Devotional
Reading: 2 Corinthians 12:9
Paul’s words in 2 Corinthians 12:9 remind us that God’s grace is sufficient for us, and His power is made perfect in weakness. Just as Elisha’s actions with the stew revealed God’s power in a time of need, our weaknesses are opportunities for God to display His strength. Being vulnerable and admitting our need for God opens the door for His grace to work in our lives.
Embracing our weaknesses with the understanding that God’s power is magnified through them allows us to live a life reliant on His strength. It shifts our focus from self-sufficiency to divine dependence, fostering a deeper relationship and trust in God’s unfailing provision.
- How do I typically respond to my weaknesses and limitations?
- In what ways can I invite God’s strength into my areas of weakness?
- What assurances does God’s sufficiency offer me in my daily life?
- Pray for the humility to acknowledge your weaknesses before God.
- Ask God to reveal His strength and grace in your areas of need.
